Josh Allen, Hailee Steinfeld announce birth of first child
Bills QB Josh Allen, Hailee Steinfeld welcome baby girl
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld have welcomed their first child, a baby girl. Steinfeld shared the news on her Substack, writing, "Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes."
The couple married last May. Allen announced their pregnancy in December. Steinfeld's post marked the arrival after months of anticipation.
Allen's personal life has intertwined with his professional growth since joining the Bills in 2018. He has called Buffalo home, where he has matured from his roots in a small California town through Wyoming and into the NFL. In October, during a "Monday Night Football" broadcast, he credited Steinfeld with teaching him he is "more than a football player," a response influenced by her pregnancy. Allen described himself as "overjoyed" at becoming a father.
The Bills finished 12-5 last season but lost in the playoffs to the Denver Broncos. Allen threw for 3,668 yards and 25 touchdowns, placing third in MVP voting.
