2026 NASCAR Odds: Denny Hamlin Favored for Texas; Where Does Carson Hocevar Sit?

Hamlin Tops Odds for Texas Würth 400

Denny Hamlin enters as the favorite at +400 odds for the Würth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 3. The race follows Carson Hocevar's first NASCAR Cup Series victory amid a multicar wreck at Talladega last week. Odds come from DraftKings Sportsbook as of May 1.

Talladega produced chaos with a massive incident eliminating several contenders. Hocevar capitalized to claim the win and vault into the spotlight. The series now shifts to the 1.5-mile Texas track for the 400-mile event, starting at 3:30 p.m. ET on FS1.

Hamlin holds the second spot in driver standings after winning at Las Vegas and leading 603 laps this season. He led 28 laps at Talladega before finishing 15th. Last year at Texas, his No. 11 Toyota completed just 73 laps before losing power and catching fire. Hocevar sits sixth in current odds at +1100 after rising to eighth in Bob Pockrass's power rankings. FOX Sports Motorsports Insider Bob Pockrass said Hocevar "probably feels like he’s on top of the world." Hocevar took the pole at Texas in 2025 at 191.659 mph but finished 24th in the race.

Tyler Reddick follows Hamlin at +550, with Kyle Larson at +650 and Christopher Bell at +900. Ryan Blaney, William Byron and Joey Logano round out the top nine at +1000 to +1400. Longer shots include Chase Elliott and Chase Briscoe at +1400 and +1600.
